Boilerplate
Zika Care is a voice companion that lives on the phone an older person already has. They can call it any time, and it calls them too. It talks for as long as they like, gets real errands done for them — by app where one exists, by telephoning the business where it doesn’t — and sends their family a two- or three-line digest afterwards. It needs no app, device or account on the older person’s side, always identifies itself as an AI, and asks for the older person’s own consent before the first call. Zika Care is currently pre-launch and taking waitlist sign-ups.

- Turn-taking built for older speakers (2 s minimum wait); errands by phone where no app exists; support for hearing loss, unclear speech and low vision; nine limitations disclosed before purchase.
